"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.

If Fox 13 doesn't want to invest in some sports memorabilia, or, at the very least, some more random decor items to liven up the set, then perhaps the Washington Sports Wrap should be presented from another part of the studio. Perhaps the main anchor desk, or the area where the weather is normally presented from?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that should be shelved is the show!
ReplyDeleteWith the money the station makes with all the games they carry and Aaron Levine makes (not to mention he drives a Mercedes-Benz), how could they not invest in adding something that showcases a little Seattle sports flavor (i.e., a Supersonics jersey or a Sounders soccer ball) rather than going on the generic like an ordinary football or baseball that you get at a Big 5. I know it's done in the studio, but it makes it look like its presented in some random mancave. Another thing is to actually invest in some "decent" talent. The folks they have are more interested in finding out where the camera is rather than offering their expertise and knowledge. It feels like "All About Me TV" or "look ma, I'm on TV". Just a thought.
