"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.

After spending 6 weeks in Mesa, I can tell you that the talent level here is far below! It's like college interns compared to pro's! Not sure why the huge gap? Weekends are MIA for the most part. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple hands full of good air talents here in Seattle, but much of the new talent is lacking big time!
ReplyDeleteAnchoring is not his forte....stiff and unsure, but first time and had his input set low by the producer.
ReplyDeletePerhaps anchoring isn't the best role for AJ to play in the Fox 13 newsroom, but if it was his first time, some uneasiness should be expected. If given the chance to improve, he might surprise us.
DeleteNot his forte...he needs to stick to the street and improve his confidence and delivery.
DeleteFun fact - he did the opening intros and some voiceover promos pre Fox corporate ownership
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that. Thanks for sharing!
