KING's The Ultimate Seattle Sports Show came up with one of the funnier, creative graphic bits I've seen for a long time. It just took co-host Chris Egan to put some poster board and markers together to show what the Mariners need to do to win the west and make the playoffs with 18 games to go. Out of the box !! Who needs AI? Here's the bottom of the board and Paul Silvi soaking it in. A big LOL.
Her goodbye post below! After an almost five-year stint, FOX 13 meteorologist and part-time news anchor Abby Acone ends her run there with a final show on this Sunday morning. Married earlier this month, she left no word on what's next. Not sure if it is fully her decision, but I'm told she had 'favored nation' status with news management. I've been frequently critical of her on this site for using the station's studio to post questionable videos (IMO), but for now, good luck. Here's Abby's goodbye post: My heart is so full as I reflect on my final week at FOX 13 ❤️ 🥹 I’m incredibly grateful for my time here and for the remarkable people who made this place feel like home. So unprofessional. KING used to be a real TV station, now they're producing cheap garbage like this. Remember when New Day had a full studio audience? Now they don't even have a studio, it's show in a glorified closet!
ReplyDeleteJust a fun, entertaining idea. But on the other hand, yes, New Day is done in a phone booth inside a studio where the bosses told me NWCN would have room to do multiple newscasts. One of the reasons I left in 2015 before the move.
DeleteExcellent work by Egan! Giving the viewers insightful information using reliable, old school methods, and injecting humor into the show. It doesn't get much better than this!
