Hired Brock Huard in the 2005 Super Bowl season to co-host a brand new call-in post game talk show after the Seahawks game ended on the networks. Called The Fone Zone. Big success with him and Chris Egan and he soon parlayed it into bigger and better things nationally after several years.

Egan is an institution at KING and while Brock has scaled back his duties in recent years to just the radio show due to his high school coaching commitments with his son, once that is done, I would love for NBC to get him for college football and reunite him with Benetti for Big 10 games

DeleteI can believe it. More and more school districts are going back before Labor Day now than in years past, and this has been the case in some parts of the country longer than it has been in others. Its a more recent phenomenon here in the Northwest from what I've seen.
