As first reported here - From KING on social:
"Big news: Thanks to some amazing viewership, great guests, and incredible teamwork, the @KING5Sports Ultimate Seattle Sports Show will be moving!
Starting August 10th our show will air on @KING5Seattle at 3:00pm and also stream on King 5+.
The show will replay on Kong TV at 8:00."
Looks like this 6-month trial run is making headway!
BTW the 3 pm show will be LIVE.

Do we know what is going to air on KONG at 10am now?
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be to return The 700 Club to. That time slot, but don't know.
ReplyDeleteDateline currently airs in the 8pm slot where the sports show will replay. It will have to move to make way, so putting it at 10am would make sense.
DeleteDateline might be a little too heavy for a morning slot. That's a PM show. Keep an eye out.
DeleteI agree that Dateline would be too intense of a program for a morning timeslot. A lighter program is needed. It will be interesting to see what KING does here.
Deletemaybe they will expand the morning news into 10am like KUSA has been doing.
ReplyDeleteThe number of local newscasts airing at 10am has been increasing in larger markets across the country. It would make sense for KING to make a similar move.
DeleteNBCUniversal is exiting the syndication business, so this only makes sense. Fill the void with cheap local programing. That time of day it’s better than color bars.
ReplyDeleteReplay the 9 am at 10. It's Kong.
DeleteThis is why is going to this garbage sports podcast masquerading as a TV show is moving to KING. NBCuniversal has canceled Access Hollywood, and the bean counters don’t want to buy something to replace it, so we get this cheap fluff.
DeleteYes, agree.
DeleteAnd maybe KING can draft "Mark Felt" to be Kelly Hanson's co-host on "New Day". What you say?
DeleteHavent't heard from Felt for awhile.
DeleteAt least KING is investing in a local program to fill the void being left behind by Access Hollywood. They could have gone with reruns of an old sitcom, as future sister station (should the Tegna/Nexstar merger ever go through) WIAT in Birmingham is currently doing to fill gaps in their schedule. Ten episodes of "Friends" are scheduled to air each weekday starting today.

Just saw KONG is moving L&O SVU to 10am and Dateline is moving to 12am. I think they should have added a 10am newscast or did what NWCN/CNN Headline News was replay earlier newscast with mixed in different packages.
ReplyDeleteMy cable grid hasn't shown up with those changes yet and still lists TUSS at 10 on KONG! Thanks for the alert.
ReplyDeleteThe website "On TV Tonight" confirms that SVU is indeed moving to the 10am spot.
DeleteAppreciate the confirmation and I see it on the grid now. Interesting to go from a local newscast to L&O to 700 to New Day. No flow, no go? Don't get it. Out of options?
