Tomorrow, June 30, two years ago, I started this blog to offer Seattle TV media information from here, there and everywhere, seeking to report and discuss the talent and program ups and downs in the market.
THANKS to all of my readers and commenters. It has grown to 349,000 views, almost 30,000 just this month with overall 4000 comments on 1225 posts.
Very amazed and more than grateful.
Here's to another year of keeping the conversation going.

A sincere thank you for your efforts! I really appreciate these nuggets of wisdom posted
ReplyDeleteThanks Rich! Ahhh, nuggets!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, reading your blog is a part of my daily routine. I like to be in-the-know! I’m a fellow longtime journalist.
ReplyDeleteAny insight on who is replacing Madison Wade on KING? I watched Robertson over the weekend. I thought Carter was it, maybe it’s a trial run?
I appreciate your kind words. Hard to say about Madison for sure, with vacations in full swing. Maddie Carter is probably the play because her SO is here too now I'm K5 sports.
ReplyDeleteGives some stability after a long run by Madison who just posted a ton of honeymoon photos, BTW.
Keep the blog going. For those of us in the biz, in a newsroom, the information is important. Everyone reads it- even those who can't admit it. Great job
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you made my day. Thank you for such kind words.
DeleteHi Wayne, I wanted to take this small "commercial break" from work wishing you and Media Maven a happy second anniversary. Your insights have always been welcoming and even though I never got a chance to work with you at NWCN, this has been an interesting space to share with fellow like-minded journalists and thoughts with other commenters who may otherwise disagree. You may one day expand this blog to make it a monthly roundtable (via Zoom), but whatever you do, thanks for making this blog possible. Wishing you and everyone in the family much love, great health and continued success. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteFelt, it is great to see you pause your work to relay those kind words. Appreciate it so much. Keep punchin.
DeleteHappy blogging anniversary, Wayne! This blog has become the go-to source for news and insights about our local TV and radio landscape! It is both a pleasure and a privledge to come here every day to not just learn whats been happening, but to have meaningful conversations about it. I can't wait to see whete this blog goes next! Cheers!

Wow, that is so nice. Thanks muchly. I have some ideas about adding video commentaries and maybe even do a Google/Zoom Meets roundtable with no identities, just handles.
DeleteThose sound like interesting ideas! Keep up the great work!
DeleteNot a journalist or an industry insider, but been reading FTVLive forever and discovered your site right around launch. I just enjoy the inside look at the business and read both blogs every morning. Keep it up! -Eric
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! This has been a great way to brush up and the happening in the broadcast world.
