Former Seattle TV weather anchor Todd Johnson posts about his continuing battle against cancer:
"It’s time for the next step in my cancer fight. Chemo and radiation shrunk the tumor. Unfortunately they didn’t kill it. So this week I’ll have surgery to get rid of the tumor once and for all.
My long term outlook is still very good. And I’m blessed to have my family, friends and a great medical team along for the ride. Thanks again for all of your support."
And we have the big pictures from departing KING weekend anchor Madison Wade's Saturday wedding.
Joyce Taylor and Leah Pezzetti in this shot, along with former K5 reporter Connor Board and officiant Chris Egan.

The others in the last photo appear to be former K5 reporters Erica Zucco, Maddie White, and Drew Andre...
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see that so many of Wade's soon-to-be former colleagues attended the wedding. Wade must have been well-liked at KING.
DeleteYeah, there were probably some other K5 folks there too...
DeleteThanks for the IDs.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, thanks for all you do!
DeleteI wish Todd the best!
ReplyDeleteSame here. Had no idea he has been battling cancer.
DeleteFingers crossed for a full recovery for Todd! Like Rhett, I was also unaware that he was in the midst of a cancer battle.
DeleteI saw do fill in KIRO probably a year ago- wish him the best!
ReplyDeleteTodd still fills in on KIRO? I thought he had left that job. Happy to hear that he was still doing it that recently!
DeleteWith this cancer battle that he is dealing with, he has not been on air in Seattle in months, but was most recently doing I think it was freelancing with KIRO. Here is hoping A. he wins his cancer battle and B. when he does he will consider going back and doing that type of role for local TV weather. There are multiple stations that I feel can use him right now so the opportunities should be there for him if he wants to pursue them after he gets back to full health
DeleteI don't think he has for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't remember the last time I saw him. Sometime before COVID, I think. I do remember that I would most often see him on weekends.
DeleteHe owns Point Across Media, production company, according to LinkedIn.
