Noticed that the new Ultimate Sports Show on KONG at 10 am weekdays has The 700 Club as its lead in. Good programming flow there, don't you think? Yikes! Well, it's essentially a religious infomercial so KING gets money for it.
It proves that USS is primarily a streaming product because no linear sports hour should ever follow religious programming in any time period. Odd stuff from K5.

I keep thinking they will move 700 Club and expand the Morning News and be a better lead in for USS like KUSA has done in Denver and has their morning news 4:30am-12p on KUSA and their sister station.

ReplyDeleteOnce KING rebuilds their reporting roster, an expansion of the morning newscast into the 9am hour on KONG would be a wise investment to make. It would offer a better lead-in for the sports show and likely bring in more advertising revenue (no need to share with the people who make The 700 Club).
