She's on her way to KING in August, but Patreons on ftvlive.com show several colleagues complaining about bullying tactcs and not wanting to work with her. It may explain why she moved from station to station in Seattle back in the day and wound up in a podunk market for years. Here's the post, you be the judge: FTVLive has heard from a number of staffers who described Lewis as a straight up "Bully." This time of year , post Super Bowl pre opening day is the vast wasteland of sports talk. Considering how bad ESPN radio has become, it tells me the on air talent is pretty good. I certainly think so!

I guess radio broadcasts of Kraken games weren't enough to keep sports fans tuned in to KJR-FM. I hope things turn around for them soon.
ReplyDeleteWould agree with Rich. Seahawks season is over and the Kraken aren't moving the needle because they aren't very good unfortunately. Would expect though both stations today, particularly KJR, to get a lot of listeners in light of the Sonics stuff. When the M's season gets going, I'd look for 710's ratings to bump back up.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't taken long for the Kraken hype to fade and I fear the same when a Sonics expansion team struggles to win. KJR has been hovering under a 2 share for months now it, and I don't see a big jump coming, Sonics talk notwithstanding.
