"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.

This covers a lot of communities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Its great to see that the Mariners are making an effort to be as widely available as possible on a regional basis.
ReplyDeleteWhich they are but there are several providers (Dish/Sling, HuluLive, YouTubeTV) that have chosen not to carry the broadcasts meaning those customers are stuck with the streaming package and whatever the team is able to carry over the air
DeleteCoast Communications customers in Ocean Shores appear to be in this boat as well. I have no information to suggest that they've outright refused to carry the broadcasts. It just might take them a longer period to get the new channel up and running. It took them several months to start carrying KUNS/ARC Seattle after the CW affiliation moved there from KSTW.
