The web writer put the death of a dog above the deaths of two humans? It's been fixed, apparently since the original post, but WHAT? Even stupidity defies the 'Sinclair Effect.' Check the link.
"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.
The human deaths and injuries should have been mentioned first in the original headline. That was the more important part of the story. This is not to downplay the dog's death. That is important too. But the crash inpacted more humans than dogs. If the dog had been the only casualty, then mentioning the dog's death first would have been more appropriate. I'm glad KOMO changed the headline.
