"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.

Agreed. He comes across very well and always seems on-pitch in his delivery with whatever the story is.
ReplyDeleteI would put Michelle Esteban on KOMO on top in this contest for her expierence (over 20 years at KOMO). But Eric is definitley growing on me, and is a strong second.
ReplyDeleteYes she has great experience. Delivery is straightforward, but I give the nod to Thomas for energy and urgency.
DeleteVery good points. Thomas' style of delivery does enhance KIRO's weekend news offering. And his sports expierence does come in handy on weekends when sports can easily be the top story.
DeleteBetween Thomas and Robert Van Winkle on weather, KIRO's weekend evening news is definitley a bright spot for the otherwise troubled station.
