ReplyDeleteNBC owns the rights to all “Super Bowl” references leading up to the game. Non-NBC stations in Boston & Seattle have to be particularly careful, as they will be carefully scrutinized to be sure they comply. Different rules apply to the various platforms in terms of logos, the term ‘Super Bowl,’ and references to the teams. So KOMO, KIRO & Q have to dance around it in case NBC is feeling litigious.
