Just happened upon a paid Saturday show called Loveable Listings on the Fox duopoly (KJZO), hosted by Erin Mayovsky of Fox 13 mornings and Gaard Swanson, host of KOMO's Seattle Refined weekday afternoon. They are a moonlighting husband and wife team, ICYMI, and they voice and appear in the pieces.
It's sponsored by Compass Real Estate Brokers and shows luxury home listings from Seattle and way beyond. Highly produced.
But wait, there's More:
Former KOMO weekend anchor Lee Stoll is on the show, too, billed as a 'Design Expert.' I thought she left KOMO for Amazon, but she was apparently laid off so she got her real estate broker's license. Life after TV.
Who knew?

Who woulda knew?
ReplyDeleteThey are both already doing quite well salary wise, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen this program come up in the TV listings once or twice, but I never bothered to tune in. Sounds like I'm not missing much.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that Lee Stoll got laid off from Amazon so quickly after joining them. I hope her new real estate/"design expert" career goes well for her.
Real estate is one of those professions that their some kind of stability, both professionally and personally, physically and mentally. Several of my KOMO colleagues also went into the business themselves including newscast director James Owen, Sports Director Mike Ferreri and Reporter Mark Miller. Stoll's position at Amazon was not going to be long-term given the layoffs going on at "Bezo's Balls". It is tough getting laid off, but at least when one door closes, another opens.
ReplyDeleteI think Mark Wright oh 13 and KING tried the mortgage business but got out. Houses not selling in Seattle for now at ridiculous prices. I guess it's a port in a storm. I wonder how Kim Holcomb of K5 Evening is doing and Meg King.
