WIND GUST FORECAST
*this afternoon and *WEDNESDAY
Today, wind gusts around Puget Sound may be 30-35mph, coming from the south, but, the north Sound/Admiralty Inlet to San Juans/Salish Sea/Northern waterways...gusts will be stronger through the afternoon and early evening, up 40-45mph.
PREPARE FOR STRONG WIND GUSTS WEDNESDAY: In the morning hours, the Cascade Foothills will have a gusty East wind- gusts in the foothills will range 35-45mph. The direction of wind will shift to southerly around Noon Wednesday for foothills to get some relief.
Then the wind kicks in for the rest of us in western Washington.
Wednesday afternoon/evening: Strongest wind gusts will come from the south and impact the coast and north interior/Salish Sea/Islands/Admiralty Inlet/ Port Townsend..Gusts in these areas 50-60mph Wednesday afternoon through evening.
Around central and southern Puget Sound (Seattle, Tacoma, Port Orchard to Bremerton, plus Bellevue)
Wind Gusts Wednesday ~Christmas Eve~ will be 35-45mph.
