I don't know how practical it would be given limited staffing and a sports-heavy CBS national sxhedule to work around, but I think KIRO-TV should make a play to get some of the games. Doing so could help get more viewers to tune into KIRO's newscasts, and help persuade Cox or a future owner that serious investment in the station is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the stations will pick up some games for free over the air. With NBC getting Sunday night, KING might be willing to jump in at some point.
DeleteIt's been said that radio is a better way to enjoy baseball then TV. Radio will always be a free way to follow, we hope.

ReplyDeleteNow that the bigger deals are done, I think there will be a move to televise some local games after the smoke clears.
