The station groups said that they would end their preemption of the latenight show Friday night.
Sinclair said its decision came after “thoughtful feedback from viewers, advertisers and community leaders representing a wide range of perspectives.” Both KOMO and KATU are affected, of course, in the PNW.
Later Friday, Nexstar also stated it would restore the Kimmel show as well for similar reasons.

Good to see Sinclair and Nexstar come to their senses and return Kimmel's show to their airwaves.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, Sinclair is going to get crap from both sides now. I sure wouldn't want to be in their spot. I watch Jimmy's monologue on You Tube, so it really didn't effect me, once the show returned to production.
ReplyDeleteFree speech be damned! It wasn’t worth losing money over.
