Gotta chuckle at how a pro wrestling champ (that's someone who doesn't win a title but to whom the WWE bestows he title as part of storylines) is getting interviewed by KOMO for its 'Inside the Arena" bit. It's solely because WWE's third level and weakest TV show NXT is on the CW which is part of the KOMO duopoly in Seattle. I know it is a sports deal, and prety much anything goes, but in wrestliing parlance, KOMO is now officiially a 'mark' and pushing an event with pre-determined results in April, no less. The program/podcast claims to offer sports scoops and insights. This was buying into WWE propaganda.
"I am no longer at Komo 4." Thanks. Longtime Weather Anchor Rebecca Stevenson confirms that she left the station just before Christmas. Her last Facebook posts are 12/17. She has the Seattle station Quintafecta, having worked at the old NWCN, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and KOMO. Looks like her decision. Wants a new chapter. She was doing mainly weekend evenings for KOMO. Perhaps Stella Sun will move there. She has been sharing weekend mornings with Theron Zahn.
