Gee Scott of KIRO 97.3 said he actually personally warned Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes that he was going to be told to resign his post or be fired.   He announced it on the station's morning show that he hosts with Ursula Reitan. "Gee didn't just report tihe story — he was part of it. A trusted source tipped him off before the news broke that SPD Chief Shon Barnes was about to be asked to resign or be fired. The awful week for Seattle marches on.  Vanishing leadership, excuses, revisionist history, you name it. But... Major kudos to Chris Daniels for great reporting Thursday afternoon on the Barnes resignation, the Wilson weak, attempted to come clean, Facebook speech on botched response and possible no confidence vote from Council.  So much to process on the fly
