All three networks have gone way over the top on the late John Madden during the Thanksgiving day games. Enough. He created a food gimmick. He didn't invent Thanksgiving or football. Won one Super Bowl and quit. My hometown Steelers beat him like a drum. Overkill and young fans could care less.
John Madden is sports broadcasting legend. He was passionate and innovative.
