Many have missed KIRO 7's weekend PM weather anchor, Frankie Katafias, so I reached out to some of my sources to find an answer.    She is apparently taking a few months of leave, but not known specifically what the reason may be.  Although there is uncertainty, it could be a personal or family matter.   I am told she is expected back at some point in the new year.  She is a great asset to what has become a troubled station.  Meanwhile former KOIN Portland chief met holds down the fort.

Chris Nguyen made a sneak preview debut appearance on KOMO news (with Mary Nam) where he is scheduled to begin fulltime next week.

Do you think former KOIN Portland Chief Met Natasha Stenbock referred former KOIN news anchor  Liz Burch to fill-in at the Incredible Shrinking Station, KIRO 7 Seattle?  Natasha has been doing weekend weather and now an old crony shows up.   She left KOIN a while back. Then on-air and mgmt stint in Yakima TV.

 KOMO leads 6 pm news Wednesday with a shooting in NE Seattle with an irrelevant file drone shot.  Meant nothing to anyone. Where is this????  Typical alarmist BS.

As reported on various web sites including ftvlive.com earlier this week, a behind-the scenes employee caught posting X-rated selifes has been terminated by KING5, per an inside source with knowledge of the situation.

  What a waste of time. Fox 13 Seattle Sports Director interviewing the Fox 13 Digital Sports Reporter about the playoffs.  Who made him an expert?  Best you have to offer??? Another lame effort by Washington Sports Wrap.  The set is a throwback.   Don't waste your time. I gave up after two minutes.
