  Stations in Seattle, we need to institute fines for the repeated mispronounciations of the word TEMPERATURES by your weather people. It's an epidemic at KOMO, KING, KIRO and KCPQ. And it's lazy speech. I won't mention the main violators. The word is not TemPETures. C'mon.

Despite time left on its carriage contract with Root Sports, the NBA's Portland Trailblazers are cutting ties with the cable channel, per this story from King5.com. That leaves one team left.   Cue up the Undertaker's theme from WWE. Comcast wants $18.50 a month to subscribe and if only the Mariners are left, why waste your money? Has 'pay for play' hit another so-called newscast @fox13seattle??  Molly Moon opens new ice cream store locations and the 'news' anchors Wixey and Mayofsky do a full syrupy tasting segment!! It was a total commercial and the lower third font was up the entire time (at least 7:00).  Guess it was a slow news morning.   Save this stuff for the insipid Studio 13 Live gabfest.

KTVZ/KFXO-TV, Bend, OR....CATHY MARSHALL will leave this News Press and Gazette owned NBC/FOX duopoly once her replacement has been hired. She's been ND here since December, 2022 and first joined the station as a morning anchor in early 2022. Cathy’s worked for CNN, and for stations in Boston, Seattle, New Haven and for KGW-TV in Portland, OR, for eleven years before joining KTVZ.
